Grade 7, £44,746 - £56,535 per annum pro rataFixed Term until end of October 202617.5 hours per week/2.5 daysApplications are invited for a Lecturer in Postgraduate Fashion Design, in the Department of Fashion and Textiles, to provide a challenging and supportive learning experience for students on the Master of Design (MDes) Fashion Design programme.Delivering world-class teaching, whilst contributing to the academic development of the programme within the overall context of the School of Design, and the vision of the Glasgow School of Art.Person Specification:
  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent) as a minimum.
  • Experience of teaching Fashion Design at postgraduate level within Higher Education; from initial concept through to full 3D realisation.
  • Experience of curriculum design, delivery, assessment and development in line with quality enhancement and assurance.
  • Excellent understanding of current debates, trends and issues relating to the subject.
  • Possess a PG Certificate in Learning & Teaching or willingness to undertake an appropriate qualification in this area.
  • Active practitioner/researcher with an established profile in the field and the ability to contribute to the school's research themes.
