Do you want to inspire students to become confident communicators in a global society?GSL Education are currently recruiting for a Secondary MFL Teacher to join a thriving and inclusive secondary school in Fareham, Hampshire. This role is perfect for someone who can inspire students to develop a love for languages, while building their confidence in speaking, reading, and writing.Key Responsibilities of a Secondary MFL Teacher:
  • Teach Modern Foreign Languages (French and/or Spanish) across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable).
  • Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that promote language acquisition and cultural understanding.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners.
  • Monitor student progress, assess work, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the development of the MFL curriculum and enrichment activities.
  • Encourage a love of languages and international awareness in the classroom.
The Ideal Secondary MFL Teacher Will Have:
  • QTS, ECT status, or equivalent overseas teaching qualification.
  • A specialism in French, Spanish, or another modern foreign language.
  • Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK national curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A commitment to inclusive and high-quality education for all students.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
