Position: CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist
Hours: Full or Part Time
Setting: Tier 4 CAMHS Inpatient Eating Disorder Service
Location: BrightonYour key responsibilities will be;
- Lead inpatient care as Responsible Clinician for a 16-bed CAMHS unit
- Provide psychiatric assessments and review treatment plans
- Attend MDTs, ICRs, CPAs and tribunals
- Oversee mental health act responsibilities, including CETRs
- Supervise clinical staff and support risk management processes
- Participate in CPD and clinical governance initiatives
- Take part in CAMHS Consultant on-call rota
- Specialist Register status in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
- MRCPsych or equivalent qualification
- Experience with CAMHS and eating disorders (inpatient desirable)
- Section 12(2) and AC approval (or eligibility)
