This is a temporary position supporting the shipping team at our Haverhill site. You’ll coordinate export and domestic shipments, prepare documentation, and ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements. You’ll work closely with packing, QC, customer service, and logistics partners to meet delivery deadlines.Where You’ll Make a Difference
- Allocate and prepare shipments, ensuring stock, shelf life, and packaging meet customer requirements.
- Coordinate with packing and QC to ensure timely order readiness and documentation (e.g., Certificates of Analysis).
- Create shipping documents including Dangerous Goods Notes, health certificates, and load sheets.
- Handle delivery queries and ensure all shippable orders are dispatched daily.
- Arrange special deliveries and time slots requested by Customer Service.
- Liaise with hauliers for ADR drivers and temperature-controlled transport.
- Monitor urgent shipments and communicate delays.
- Run reports (e.g., ZOOGN) and support logistics data sharing.
- Assist with problem-solving and support logistics projects as needed.
- Experience in export shipping, including hazardous materials.
- Strong knowledge of European road freight and deep-sea shipping.
- SAP experience and proficiency in Excel and Word.
- Aviation security, IATA, ADR, and IMDG training (preferred).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
