Business Development Representative – Estimating & Project Controls SaaSHybrid – Manchester (2-3 days in office)We’re working with a long-established and growing SaaS company that provides specialist estimating and project controls software used by contractors, engineers, and asset owners across infrastructure, utilities, civil engineering, and construction.They’re now looking for a driven and ambitious Business Development Representative (BDR) to join their UK team. Based out of their Manchester office, this is a hybrid role designed for someone who wants to break into B2B tech sales with clear development into an Account Executive role.🔥 Your RoleAs BDR, your mission is to generate and qualify new business opportunities by targeting key decision-makers in construction and infrastructure. You’ll be the first point of contact for prospects and play a critical role in growing pipeline and market awareness.Key responsibilities:
  • Conduct targeted outbound outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn
  • Qualify inbound leads and set up discovery calls for senior sales team
  • Research key target sectors and identify potential opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and sales to align messaging and campaign follow-up
  • Use CRM tools to track activity and continuously improve outreach strategy
✅ What You Bring
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a B2B sales, lead generation, or client-facing role (ideally SaaS or construction tech)
  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • Resilient, proactive, and motivated to build a career in tech sales
  • Strong organisational skills and familiarity with CRM systems
  • Interest in construction, engineering, or infrastructure sectors a plus
  • Able to commute to Manchester office 2-3 days per week
