The School and RoleAn Alternative Provision school based in Christchurch are currently seeking a Behaviour Mentor to start in September. The school caters for primary and secondary aged pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs, as well as challenging behaviour.The Behaviour Mentor role is an amazing opportunity for somebody who wants to make a difference to young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and support young people to access education. You will offer guidance and support both in the classroom, and also with their social and emotional development.The desired Behaviour Mentor will have:
  • Experience of working with primary and/or secondary school aged children
  • Experience of working with pupils with SEND/SEMH and challenging behaviour.
  • A passion for the progress of pupils
  • An ability to work as part of a team
