Community Employment Navigator

• Provide 1-1 and group-based support, including CV building, interview preparation, job searching, and career guidance.
• Provide direct support to 75 individuals across Root Cause communities.
• Support the delivery of employment training academy programmes designed to equip individuals with skills, accredited qualifications, and workplace readiness.
• Act as a liaison between employers and participants, ensuring smooth transitions into employment.
• Provide tailored guidance to participants on managing their personal finances, including budgeting, debt management, and accessing financial support or benefits.
• Connect individuals with appropriate financial advice services where needed.

• Minimum of 2 years experience in an employment support role
• 5 GCSEs at grade C and above including English and Maths
• Strong understanding of barriers to employment and strategies to overcome them through targeted support.
• Knowledge of training, qualification pathways, and employability skills development.
• Full clean driver’s license
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to the changing needs of participants and employers.
• Ability to engage and support individuals from diverse backgrounds with sensitivity and understanding.
