- MIG Weld/fabricate to a high standard (heavy up to 20mm gauge)
- Align components and connect them using various welding techniques
- Smoothing molten metal to remove creases
- Testing welded surfaces
- Weld components using manual or semi-automatic equipment
- Calculate dimensions of parts to be welded
- Accurately work from and interpret detailed drawings
- Able to adhere to PPE standards
- Maintain a safe working environment, always keeping areas clear
- Welder/Fabricator: at least 3 – 4 years’ experience.
- Working with commercial vehicles (desirable)
- Ideally have experience in plasma cutting, oxy acetylene cutting and manual press brake operations.
- Vast experience with hand tools (grinders & drills)
