- Provide professional support and visibility of effective WPS and safety management to the Senior Manager WPS
- Create and maintain agreed WPS SOP’s and KPI’s
- Produce reports and data as required by the WPS Manager
- Raising of Purchase Orders for goods and services and resolution of any payment issues
- Lead and develop Sustainability Champions along with a clear delivery plan with regular updates against the plan.
- Implement and maintain a planned schedule of maintenance, servicing and inspection routines across all WPS disciplines and to determine and act upon any findings appropriately.
- Ensure that adequate arrangements for the assessment and management of risk are available and that records of risk assessments, method statements, schemes of work, certification, and tracking systems are maintained as effective documentary evidence of all WPS activities.
- Coordinate the work of staff and contractors effectively and ensure that they are positively engaged and supported to deliver effective outcomes responsibly and in the absence of any danger to themselves or others.
- Evaluate the work of staff and contractors to ensure that all WPS works have been completed satisfactorily and the work area reinstated appropriately.
- Introduce and maintain performance management within the area of responsibility and take action to address underperformance.
- Arrange for and manage cost quotations against ad-hoc works and short term agreements for goods and services and compare those to achieve the maximum value for money.
- Contribute expertise to the preparation of specifications and documentation for long term contract agreements and procurement tenders.
- Provide effective WPS support to all site development initiatives and projects and ensure that technical support is obtained when required
- Respond to any findings as outlined in safety and underwriter reports and participate in site audits as required.
- Any other duties that manifest as a result of role competence, legislative or organisational requirement.
- Deliver effective initiatives for environmental and waste management, energy use and provide support for organisational monitoring and reporting of sustainability processes when required.

- A self-motivated individual able to prioritise own workload
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated Project Management skills to guide a team through a change project
- Experience of coaching others to achieve sustained improvements
- A lean advocate with experience of tools such as structured problem solving, VSM, SMED, 5S, Kanban, etc.
- Proficient in the use of Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook
- Ideally a member of BIFM
- 5+ years previous facilities management experience
- Level 3 BIFM or Level 2 iwfm
- and willing to continue with education to work towards Level 4 BIFM or Level 3 iwfm.
