The incumbent assists management with the use and care of physical assets, controls costs, manages external vendor relationships, works closely with auto technicians and internal customers and performs regular equipment and facility audits.​​Internal Salary Grade: 20D​Flexible hours​
Responsibilities:​Schedules maintenance, monitors repairs, expenses and inventory levels, and checks vehicle performance and safety.​Analyzes cost of labor hours, adheres to purchase limits, and follows expense approval procedures.​Follows equipment disposal guidelines working with fleet manager.​Processing of invoices and administrative duties​Participates in required webinars and workshops to evaluate proficiency in areas of responsibility and drive improvement.​Participates in mentoring programs to enhance professional development.Requirements:​Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred​General technical knowledge of tools and methods to maintain and repair equipment and machinery​Excellent written and oral communication skills​Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook​Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week including evenings​Ability to supervise small group of technicians​Must have a valid driver's license​Must be 21 years of ageEmployee Type: PermanentUPS is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.Other Criteria:UPS is an equal opportunity employer.
