My client are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AssocRICS or MRICS Building Surveyor to join their team in Reading.This role offers the opportunity to deliver professional services across a diverse portfolio of projects. The successful candidate will have proven experience being instructed on a variety of projects, including Residential, Heritage, Fire and Flood Restoration, Social Housing, and Commercial. Our client base includes private individuals, housing providers, and multinational financial institutions.Key Responsibilities:·Conduct condition, measured, and dilapidation surveys across residential, commercial, and heritage properties.
·Diagnose building defects, prepare technical reports, and provide costed recommendations for remedial works.
·Deliver reinstatement cost assessments and technical due diligence reports.
·Prepare schedules of condition, schedules of dilapidation, and planned preventative maintenance schedules.
·Undertake project management duties, including contract administration and overseeing refurbishment, restoration, and repair projects.
·Provide professional advice on property and construction matters, including building regulations and compliance.Key Requirements:·AssocRICS or MRICS qualification
·Demonstrable experience across a range of projects including Residential, Heritage, Fire & Flood Restoration, Social Housing, and Commercial.
·Proven track record of being instructed by corporate clients, including multinational financial institutions.
