Colt provides network, voice and data centre services to thousands of businesses around the world, allowing them to focus on delivering their business goals instead of the underlying infrastructure.Why we need this roleAs a an indirect procurement business partner you'll be managing the company’s supply portfolio ensuring transparency of spending, managing Categories of spend according to business needs, generating and implementing efficient sourcing and category management strategies. You'll be also analysing and calculating costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure. Lastly, you'll be handling corporate sourcing operations and appraising and improving our sourcing activities by analyzing the company’s spending, supplying partnerships and new possibilities.What you will doLead the timely and efficient procurement of products and services across assigned categoriesDevelop and implement category strategies to optimize cost, time, supplier capacity, and competitiveness in line with Group objectivesIdentify and pursue supplier consolidation and cost-reduction opportunitiesBuild strong relationships with internal stakeholders to align category strategies, savings plans, budgets, and processesDiscover, assess, and engage with profitable, trustworthy, inclusive, and diverse suppliersLead supplier negotiations, creating strategies to secure favorable terms and long-term valueConduct cost analysis, benchmarking, and scenario planning to support data-driven procurement decisionsMonitor market trends to anticipate changes in supplier leverage and supply dynamicsApply risk mitigation techniques and support sustainable procurement practices aligned with ISO20400Manage end-to-end tender processes, from specification through contract award and negotiationEnsure procurement documentation is complete, accurate, and maintained in AribaAddress and resolve procurement and contractual issues in collaboration with internal departmentsConduct supply risk assessments and incorporate them into category plansAct as a subject matter expert on procurement practices, tools, and regulatory complianceSupport internal teams with ad hoc procurement activities and process improvementsEvaluate competitive bids using TCO, payment terms, commercial conditions, and economies of scaleContribute to the development and enhancement of procurement systems, processes, and category-specific solutionsKey performance indicators
