- Design and Develop methodology and approach to identify key accountabilities across the Vector and set the framework for accountable individuals to demonstrate consistently how their accountabilities are being met;
- Lead implementation and embedding of the Risk and Control Self Assessment process across Investments business globally;
- Develop, Embed and Manage approaches and processes to various components of the governance, risk management and controls framework across the Investments business;
- Ensure ongoing alignment of responsibilities and accountabilities between individuals (pursuant to SMCR or other relevant local requirements), legal entities, processes and controls across the Investments Vector.
- Develop tools and approaches to facilitate the effective communication of the framework
- Collaborate closely with partners from across the team (particularly those engaged in delivering other aspects of the framework), division and vector to ensure that the framework is embedded holistically, effectively and efficiently.
- Build and manage ongoing processes within IVCOO to support the governance, risk management and controls framework across the Investment Vector, including data provision and oversight activity.
- Solid experience of complex problem solving; ideally with either a risk, compliance and/or legal background
- Evidence of a proactive and strategic working style, able to anticipate and manage issues effectively
- Experience of managing a varied and demanding workload across functional projects
- Excellent communicator (written and oral) and attention to detail.
- Extensive practical experience in a risk or controls role, with relevant qualifications or training being an advantage
- Good knowledge of asset management processes across operations, client, investments and product functions an advantage
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
