Join a team where your expertise in finance lays the foundation for smart, strategic decision-making across landmark projects.I seeking an exceptional Head of Finance to lead the strategic financial direction of a growing property development company.Managing budgets in excess of £800M, this role demands strong commercial acumen, hands-on leadership, and an ability to drive financial performance across complex development portfolios.You will split your time between the followingFinancial Leadership & Governance
  • Lead the full finance function, overseeing monthly reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
  • Implement robust internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and financial integrity.
  • Manage annual budgeting and multi-year strategic financial plans aligned to business goals.
Development Finance & Investment
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on debt financing and acquisition deals (£150M+).
  • Produce detailed financial models, sensitivity analyses, and tenant due diligence to guide investment decisions.
  • Support the preparation and negotiation of commercial lease agreements and term sheets with legal and banking stakeholders.
Strategic Analysis & Decision Support
  • Deliver insightful commentary on financial performance to senior leadership, including CFO, Board, and external funders.
  • Evaluate development ROI, revenue trends, and risk exposure, informing the wider business strategy.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies across projects and operations.
Leadership & Team Management
  • Manage and mentor a finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
  • Facilitate monthly senior management meetings, driving financial governance and business-wide updates.
  • Oversaw integration of entities through mergers and acquisitions, delivering streamlined financial consolidation.
Required Experience & Skills:
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
  • Proven background in property development, real estate finance, or investment banking.
  • Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and regulatory reporting expertise.
