Are you enthusiastic about health and social care teaching and looking for an opportunity to increase provision and support to students?Birkbeck University has ambitious plans to increase our provision of teaching in the broad areas of health and social care, and we are looking for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/ Reader in Health and Social Care to take forward a new suite of programmes.You will be working in an interdisciplinary environment, leading our existing programmes in Health and Social Care, and Health and Social Care and Management, and working with colleagues across the University to develop new provision.

You will need to have relevant industry experience, or networks, to ensure our programmes are of the highest quality and support students’ employment ambitions.This opportunity would build on experience as Lecturer, researcher, social care professional, policy analyst.The post is available on either our ‘Teaching and Research’ or ‘Teaching and Education’ tracks depending on candidates’ experience and trajectory.Remuneration£49,745 rising to £69,074 per annum.
