We are looking for a Field Based Sales Manager to join our Client in a B2B sales role across a variety of sectors. This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager to thrive in a fast-paced, business environment while developing skills within Business Development and B2B sales.Our client is enjoying a prolonged period of growth and are looking to increase their presence and market share throughout the UK. You will have a proven track record in a sales environment and will possess knowledge, experience and understanding of the packaging industry and supply chain services.What You’ll Be Doing:Identify and follow up on new business leads within multiple B2B sectorsManage existing accounts, develop relationships and upsell new and additional productsVisit clients and showcase products to key decision makersNegotiate contracts and pricing with clients and suppliersTravelling to engage customers across the Midlands, parts of southern England and occasionally nationwideDemonstrate strong knowledge of packaging sustainability issues and be comfortable to lead client discussions around this subject – training will be providedProduce and present monthly reports based on sales, lead generation and account managementDevelop detailed product knowledge and remain informed about market trends and current legislationContribute to improvements in products and processesDemonstrate a passion for sustainabilityRepresent the company as an ambassador in all forms of communication and meetings – live their valuesWhat We’re Looking For:A keen attitude to learn and developPrevious experience in sales within the packaging industryExperience of selling into distributor networks and 3PL providers – preferredStrong attention to detail and a keen willingness to learnField sales experience – B2BProficiency in Excel and Microsoft OfficeStrong team player – able to work alongside internal teams to fulfil customer ordersProven success in a target driven sales roleStrong work ethic, self-motivatedA professional, confident, and diplomatic approach to communication and relationship building from shop floor to C-suiteThe role is field based, covering the Midlands and further south – working in a small team where full product training will be given.
