We are proud of the work we do helping injured people, and this is the core of our business.We are looking for talented Advocates to join our Advocacy department, which proudly boasts a combined 60+ years of litigation experience. The team advocates for our other departments on all of their cases and works alongside fee earners to achieve success for our clients.What you will be doing:This role will allow you to work with a successfully established and growing company with Solicitor owner-managers. You will be part of the Advocacy Department, which operates as a tight-knit team, working closely with a number of experienced barristers. This is an excellent opportunity to gain and develop first-hand advocacy skills.What we offer you:

Hearings, including but not limited to interlocutory applications, case management hearings and infant approval hearings.
Drafting advices, pleadings and skeleton arguments.

You will be need to travel across England and Wales, which could require overnight stays.Salary – £27,000 per annum.Hours – Our standard working hours are 8:30 am to 5:30 am Monday -Thursday and 8:30 am to 5 pm Friday.What are we looking for?

An excellent communicator with presentation and interpersonal skills to match.
A fast learner who has a sound working knowledge of the CPR.
Resilience and ability to think and perform under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
Someone able to act upon own initiative and ability to think flexibly.
Sound academics (minimum 2.1 at degree AND Very Competent/ Distinction for the BPC).
