Assets are managed via a broad mandate to trade in a variety of global markets and instruments.About the Role:This Windows Systems Engineer role requires good technical, and communications skills and a passion for the latest technology.The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of applied experience as a Windows Systems Engineer that includes the deployment, monitoring and support of secure Windows Servers running enterprise applications including Active Directory, Exchange\Office 365 installations, administration, migrations, and troubleshooting. Candidates must work well with a global team and busy environment. The candidate will play a critical role in the IT department, contributing to the overall operational efficiency, reliability, and security of our IT infrastructure.Responsibilities:
  • Deploy and support Enterprise Windows & Linux systems and third-party applications to meet organizational needs and following best practices.
  • Performing system maintenance, such as applying patches and updates to ensure security and efficiency.
  • Monitoring system performance to identify and resolve issues.
  • Maintaining detailed documentation of the systems setup, configurations, procedures, and changes made.
  • Implementing and managing security measures such as anti-virus software and patch management to protect data and infrastructure.
  • Managing backup solutions to ensure data is securely backed up.
  • Working as part of the IT systems team to plan and execute larger IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest technologies, Windows updates, and best practices in system administration.
  • Ensuring that systems and user activities comply with organizational policies and any relevant legal or regulatory requirements.
  • System troubleshooting and diagnostics.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Windows System Engineer/Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Management of Windows servers including Active directory, Group policy, Exchange, Azure and O365
  • An understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN
  • Basic scripting skills (e.g. PowerShell, Batch scripting) for automating routine tasks and deployments.
  • Some knowledge of AWS Infrastructure would be beneficial.
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot systems issues and applications.
  • Able to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong collaborative skills with the ability to work effective in a team-oriented environment.
  • Displays and operates at the highest degree of ethics and integrity.
