- Deploy and support Enterprise Windows & Linux systems and third-party applications to meet organizational needs and following best practices.
- Performing system maintenance, such as applying patches and updates to ensure security and efficiency.
- Monitoring system performance to identify and resolve issues.
- Maintaining detailed documentation of the systems setup, configurations, procedures, and changes made.
- Implementing and managing security measures such as anti-virus software and patch management to protect data and infrastructure.
- Managing backup solutions to ensure data is securely backed up.
- Working as part of the IT systems team to plan and execute larger IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
- Keeping up to date with the latest technologies, Windows updates, and best practices in system administration.
- Ensuring that systems and user activities comply with organizational policies and any relevant legal or regulatory requirements.
- System troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Windows System Engineer/Administrator or in a similar role.
- Management of Windows servers including Active directory, Group policy, Exchange, Azure and O365
- An understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN
- Basic scripting skills (e.g. PowerShell, Batch scripting) for automating routine tasks and deployments.
- Some knowledge of AWS Infrastructure would be beneficial.
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot systems issues and applications.
- Able to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
- Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong collaborative skills with the ability to work effective in a team-oriented environment.
- Displays and operates at the highest degree of ethics and integrity.
