- Educated to degree Level in a professionally related subject
- Developed knowledge of strategic planning and development
- Knowledge and experience of service redesign techniques, for example: LEAN and systems thinking
- Programme and project management qualifications
- Experience of implementing strategy and plans to support service delivery for a medium size organisation
- Evidence of solving a range of complex operational and strategic problems.
- Proven track record of successfully planning, developing and implementing change within a complex environment
- Knowledge of the NHS Wales strategic planning environment and planning system.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal); interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate information to executive level decision-makers, senior managers, staff and external agencies
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to enthuse, motivate and involve individuals and large teams, and have them understand your expectations
- This role requires travel pan Wales
- Able to work hours flexibly
