Rate: Competitive — details to be discussed upon applicationWe are seeking a dedicated Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to join our NHS client in Glasgow, Scotland. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start on a short-term contract.Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality psychiatric care across inpatient and Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) settings
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for adult patients
- Lead multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to service development
- Offer clinical supervision and support to junior medical staff
- Ensure full compliance with the Mental Health Act (MHA) and other relevant legislation
- Full GMC registration
- Section 12 approval
- Extensive experience in Adult Psychiatry, particularly in inpatient and CMHT environments
- Proven experience in a Consultant-level role
