We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Music Teacher to join a large, successful, and comprehensive school with a sixth form, located in Ashford. The selected Music Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, and will play a pivotal role in the school's thriving performing arts scene.The school is a vibrant and inclusive learning community that boasts exceptional facilities and a rich history of academic and artistic achievement. The successful Music Teacher will be joining a supportive and creative department dedicated to providing unforgettable musical experiences for all students.As a Music Teacher, you will be expected to:
- Plan and deliver high-quality, practical Music lessons across all key stages, including A-Level.
- Organise and manage performances, concerts, and productions throughout the academic year.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback to inspire improvement.
- Manage the use of music practice rooms and equipment, fostering a creative and disciplined environment.
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Music.
- Have experience teaching Music at secondary school level in the UK.
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
