- Implement effective recruitment strategies to attract new foster carers
- Develop and deliver engaging publicity materials to promote fostering
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to maximise recruitment opportunities
- Monitor and evaluate recruitment activities, providing regular reports on progress
- Support the Team Manager in ensuring high-quality placements for children in care
- This role is essential in driving the successful recruitment of foster carers, ultimately leading to improved outcomes for children and young people in West Berkshire.
- Experience in a similar role, with a good understanding of fostering and the challenges involved
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate potential foster carers
- Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities
- Creative flair, with the ability to produce engaging publicity materials
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Flexible working wherever possible between the hours of 07.00-21.00
