Location: NN6 Area, Northamptonshire
Start Date: Monday, 2nd September 2025
Working Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm (Monday to Friday)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experienceA friendly and forward-thinking primary school in the NN6 area is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team starting 2nd September 2025.About the Role:You will be responsible for delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can develop key skills in communication, literacy, numeracy, and personal development.Key Responsibilities:Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the EYFS curriculumFoster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphereMonitor and assess children’s progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needsWork collaboratively with staff, parents, and external agencies to support children’s developmentPromote the social, emotional, and academic development of all pupilsIdeal Candidate Will Have:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)Experience teaching in EYFS, ideally ReceptionStrong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child developmentExcellent communication and organizational skillsA caring, patient, and creative approach to teaching young childrenWhat We Offer:A supportive and welcoming school communityAccess to professional development and training opportunitiesA vibrant and well-resourced learning environmentThe chance to make a positive impact at a crucial stage in children’s educationIf you would like to apply, please send your CV to samantha.banks@teachingpersonnel.comAll applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
