Architect and implement state-of-the-art data pipelines that set industry benchmarks.
Collaborate with a dynamic team to extract, transform, and load data that fuels strategic pricing and underwriting decisions.
Innovate and iterate on processes to stay ahead of the curve in a fast-paced, competitive market.

What will I be doing?

Architect Data Solutions: Design and deploy scalable data pipelines and architectures, ensuring secure and efficient data handling for our insurance operations.
Be a Technical Beacon: Provide expert guidance across the organisation, aligning data engineering with our strategic goals, and driving efficient data utilisation for informed decision-making.
Champion Data Quality: Oversee data integrity, implementing validation processes to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of data that shapes insurance pricing and strategies.
Collaborate for Success: Work closely with actuaries, underwriters, and data scientists, understanding their data needs and tailoring data engineering efforts to support them effectively.
Innovate and Optimise: Stay ahead with emerging tech, evaluating and integrating innovative tools to enhance data processing and storage, boosting performance and efficiency in our insurance services.

What do I need?

Data Engineering Mastery: Proven experience in crafting scalable data pipelines and transformations.
Tech Fluency: Strong command of SQL, Shell/Bash, JavaScript, and Python.
Tool Agility: Versatility with diverse tools for dynamic insurance data management.
ETL and Warehousing Wisdom: Deep knowledge of modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
Cloud Platform Prowess: Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP.
Innovative Problem-Solving: A track record of practical, creative solutions in data engineering.
