We are looking for an experienced Practice Nurse to join our nursing team.We are a multidisciplinary Practice that includes GPs, Clinical Pharmacists, Practice Nursing, Health Care Assistants, and Physiotherapists.Main duties of the jobTo be fully proficient in Chronic disease management, vaccinations and immunisations, cervical screening, contraceptive reviews, wound care including compression, as well as other general treatment room duties.To provide support to junior members of the nursing team including healthcare assistants and will direct their work to ensure that the Practices provide high quality care.You will oversee infection control standards and cold chain compliancy.About usTo work within NMC Code of Conduct and to agreed Practice standards and protocolsOversee recall systems for chronic diseases, cervical screening, immunisations, and other key areas as relevant to Practice NursingDelivery effective implementation of management of patients with Chronic Diseases as detailed by the Quality and Outcomes Framework, local quality schemes and national quality schemesSupport the implementation of evidence-based guidelines in conjunction with the wider teamEncourage the development of integrated services within Primary Care to include integrated practice-based teams and multidisciplinary workingOversee infection control and cold chain
