
Student Recruitment Coordinator

- Develop, support and implement Customer Relationship Management plans for identified target audiences, to promote conversion of applications to registrations, including co-ordination of effective post-application activities and communications
- To support a wide range of duties relating to student recruitment and conversion activities in order to attract and convert high-calibre students, including:
- Responding to student and stakeholder enquiries, in collaboration with relevant School, Faculty and University colleagues
- Develop, deliver and evaluate student recruitment events and presentations both in-person and virtually, notably the Business School’s subject specific offer holder events and University-wide Open Days
- Support the delivery of marketing led activities linked to student recruitment including coordination of blogs, case studies, prospectus’ and marketing collateral
- Provide support to ensure that information provided to prospective students is high quality and accurate, including:
- Developing annual student recruitment communications plans, in line with University and School requirements
- Liaising and collaborating with university marketing, UK and international recruitment teams to supply information as required
- Developing subject/programme messaging and content including editorial and copywriting
- Communicating the School’s offering in person, by phone and by e-mail to a variety of stakeholders including parents, teachers and students
- Willingness and availability to work unsocial hours (evenings and weekends) when required
- Willingness and ability to travel in the UK for events attendance
- Other duties, as defined by line manager, which support the successful achievement of Business School’s vision, strategy and operations
- You will be expected to provide ad hoc support to the School with a generic health & safety role and the occasional requirement to cover reception
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and content creation skills
- Experience and understanding of customer relationship management and/or customer service
- IT skills, including experience of MS Office packages
- Experience of organising and delivering/participating at events
- Knowledge and understanding of CRM systems (Desirable)
- Experience of admissions or student recruitment in an education setting (Desirable)
- Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently, prioritise workload, work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills with the ability to develop effective working relationships with stakeholders
- The ability to use initiative and adopt a creative approach to problem solving
- An ability to maintain confidentiality with information relating to individuals and business
- Grades A-C in English Language and Mathematics at GCSE (or vocational qualifications or equivalent) and/or demonstrable work experience
- Degree or equivalent level qualification (Desirable)
