- Managing your own portfolio of properties regarding maintenance and repairs etc.
- Providing exceptional levels of customer service, corresponding with tenants, landlords, contractors, and other professionals both verbally and in writing.
- Delivering Property Management services in line with service level agreements, tenancy agreements, company standards, and industry best practice.
- Being the point of contact for any maintenance issues for your portfolio of properties.
- Ensuring all legal certification is obtained and in place prior to the commencement of a let and throughout the tenancy.
- Gaining authorisation for works to be carried out.
- Liaising with contractors for timescale and cost of repairs etc.
- Obtaining tenant authorisation for contractors to gain access to properties for maintenance work to begin.
- Recording all actions thoroughly and accurately to leave a paper trail of all communications.
- Responsible for all associated administration tasks to support the property management function.
- Build and maintain a rapport with your allocated tenants, landlords, and approved contractors.
- Co-ordinate and arrange relevant statutory safety checks.
- Strong IT skills (MS Office, internet, email systems)
- Excellent numeracy and literacy capabilities
