The Role of the Maintenance Engineer:The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for preventative maintenance and attending breakdowns across site equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation.Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer:
  • Minimise unplanned downtime through effective fault-finding and timely repairs
  • Identify root causes and implement long-term fixes to support continuous improvement
  • Ensure safety, hygiene and quality standards are consistently upheld
  • Work closely with operations teams and escalate unresolved issues where needed
About the Maintenance Engineer:
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (e.g. C&G, ONC).
  • Over 5 year’s experience in a fast-paced, automated engineering/maintenance environment
  • Strong fault-finding ability (electrical and/or mechanical)
  • Experience with PLCs, inverters, servo motors or pneumatics
  • HACCP Level 2 or 3, IOSH or NEBOSH (desired)
  • Fabrication and welding skills (desired)
