We’re looking for a calm, caring and committed Autism Support Worker to join a welcoming primary school in Bradford this September. You’ll be supporting a pupil with autism, helping them navigate the school day and access learning in a way that works for them.This role is about more than ticking boxes—it’s about building trust, creating routine, and helping a child feel safe, seen and supported.What you’ll be doing:Providing 1:1 or small group support to a pupil with autismCreating a calm and structured learning environmentUsing visual aids, routines, and sensory strategiesSupporting with transitions, social interaction, and emotional regulationWorking closely with the SENCO, class teacher, and parents/carersYou’ll need:Experience working with children with autism or in an SEN settingA patient, non-judgemental approach and strong communication skillsConfidence to work independently while taking direction from staffKnowledge of autism strategies (PECS, Makaton, sensory tools) is a bonusIn return, you’ll get:Weekly pay via PAYE—no umbrella deductionsFree CPD, including autism awareness and behaviour supportOngoing support from a dedicated consultant who understands SENA chance to make a real difference, every single day📩 Ready to support a child who needs your calm and consistency?
