The Adult Learning Disability service is looking to recruit a motivated and suitably qualified Resource Manager for the Housing and Outreach Support service based at Oransay Court, Portree on the Isle of Skye.The suitable candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of high-quality care and support to adults with learning disabilities and/or autism. This being within people's homes, and community based.
The successful candidate will be required to meet personal registration standards as required with The Care Inspectorate and SSSC (Registered Manager's Award).
The successful candidate would be required to complete all statutory paperwork such as Annual Returns, Variations and Notifications for The Care Inspectorate.
The role includes day to day management of staff and responsibility to ensure the staff team is trained to an appropriate standard, whilst meeting all registration requirements and following SSSC Codes of Practice. The post holder would be expected to work within the multidisciplinary and multi-agency extended Community Learning Disability Team across the Highland Health and Social Care Partnership (HHSCP) to deliver an integrated care service with an enhanced role for housing support and related community support services to people with a learning disability and their families/carers.
