I am working with a top global accounting firm who are actively seeking an Audit Quality Manager. Based out of the London office, this role will underpin the quality and robust methodology expected of the firm and carry this forward to influence the standards of the future.High audit quality is integral to the overall success of the business. In an ever-evolving industry the standard for audit quality must remain high and the audit quality function is integral to ensuring adherence to this across the business.Being part of audit quality means staying abreast of changes and playing an active role in improving audit quality on a firm-wide scale.General responsibilities:
  • Act as a key point of contact for Audit Partners, staff, and senior leadership as a subject matter expert for the firm’s methodologies, support material, and technical audit software.
  • Review and address complex technical questions.
  • Review and update technical material for firm policy and guidance
  • Provide input and assist with the creation of supporting and learning material, to then be delivered to various teams across the firm
  • Stay abreast of technical standards and regulations.
  • Manage and develop the team to cultivate a collective of technical experts setting the bar for audit quality across the firm
Requirements:
  • ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent
  • Expertise with IFRS and UK GAAP
  • Experience in a global practice environment managing within a technical or quality audit function.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to liaise across all levels of seniority.
