Area Relief OfficerWe are currently recruiting a full-time permanent Area Relief Officer to work across a collection of sites in Stockton, Middlesbrough, Redcar and DarlingtonThis exciting opportunity will allow you to work across a range of varied locations, with a high standard of security needing to be met at all times. If you are in the security industry or are looking for a career change, then this would be the perfect for you! We will offer on-site training, as well as career development too.This is a full-time role working 42 hours per week covering days, nights and weekends.Your Time at WorkAs an Area Relief Officer, a typical week will involve ensuring the safety of our customers' staff, their buildings, and assets, whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile. Other elements of the role will include:- Greeting staff and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Ensuring everyone follows the security and safety protocols of the site
- Gatehouse duties - access and egress control
- Patrolling of the premises - both inside and outside
- Dealing with any security incidents on site and completing relevant incident report formsOur Perfect WorkerIf you are aged 18 or over and are a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times, then this could be the career for you!A good understanding of IT is required and as mentioned before, whilst it would be a benefit to have some previous security experience together with your SIA license, it's not essential.We provide full SIA (Security Industry Authority) license training to help you on your way to a career in security. Previous experience in security is not a must, but if you're already working in the industry, or have before, we welcome you to join our team. We know you'll get off to a flying start!Please note, this role does require a Full UK Driving Licence with access to your own vehicle.Key Information and Benefits- 5.6 weeks paid holiday (8 of these will be in lieu of bank holidays - subject to shift pattern and accrual)
