Band 7Cardiology Governance LeadAn exciting opportunity has arisen within the cardiology service, we are looking for someone with extensive leadership experience working in the cardiology field and have a strong interest in improving patient safety. Experience with governance and the framework used within the NHS is essential, if you have the skills mentioned then this is the post for you.The post offers a great opportunity to contribute to the delivery of safer care. The role will allow for the successful candidate to be involvement in quality improvement projects.The post allows for an experience individual to work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to set up robust systems to maintain safe practice and safe patient experience.PREVIOUS CANDIDATES NEED NOT APPLYMain duties of the jobThe post holder will work as a senior member of the CCU team to lead and deliver a range of quality governance activities at unit level and within professional teams' groups, to ensure compliance with the site's governance and risk framework.   • Completion of a management qualification or equivalent
  • Completion of leadership qualification
  • Good level of clinical governance knowledge
