- Provide support to the wider legal team across day-to-day and strategic initiatives
- Create and support legal databases and team resources and processes, including customer agreements, vendor contracts, IP, knowledge management, external counsel and others
- Review and negotiation of legal contracts such as NDAs, and preliminary review of more complex documents
- Support research across legal matters and jurisdictions
- Uses appropriate specialist knowledge/technical skills relevant to the job
- Acts as a point of reference for other less experienced staff for help, guidance and support
- Makes attempts to keep up to date with developments affecting their role
- Efficiently manages their range of work and meets deadlines set, keeping all appraised of progress
- Is able to identify how their areas of responsibility impact those of others and where required, can take the appropriate action
- Understands the firm's strategy and how it impacts the team
- Identifies ways to add value and contribute to the goals of the team/business
- Displays initiative in improving work processes and quality of output
- Shows ability to query and question in the firm's best interests

- A degree in Law or equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in legal research and documentation.
- Experience in the financial services industry.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- An estimated salary range of £40,500 - £49,500 per annum.
