Catering Assistant - South West Norse
  • Location: Broadhembury Primary School, Honiton, EX14 3NF
  • Salary: £25,396.80 pro rata - Equates to £12.21 per hour
  • Hours Per Week: 10 hpw
  • Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 11.30- 1.30pm, term time only
  • 6 Month Fixed Term Position
South West Norse is established in delivering catering, cleaning, and facilities management services to a portfolio of clients in the local region in partnership with Devon County Council, combining local knowledge with service delivery expertise.As we recognise the importance of building a strong kitchen team to be a key ingredient to our catering success, we currently have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Catering Assistant join our team at Broadhembury Primary School on a permanent basis. Collecting meals from Willowbank Primary School, Cullompton. Delivering to and serving at Broadhembury Primary and then returning boxes to Willowbank after service.The Role:You will be supporting all aspects of the catering service including ensuring completion of the preparation, cooking, presentation and service of our nutritious food and beverage outlets to students and staff while complying with food hygiene, Health and Safety and QA procedures.This customer facing role will provide you with great exposure to all aspects of the catering environment with lots of opportunities to learn and develop your skills within the industry.Our Successful Candidate:While we would ideally be seeking an individual that has previous experience within the role, at Norse we can offer full training and support for enthusiastic individuals who are looking to develop within the catering industry with a national company. We will expect you to demonstrate:
  • Previous catering experience or willing to be trained in your new role.
  • Friendly and polite customer service
