- Oversee and manage all contractual obligations on construction projects in the fit-out sector, ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory, and ethical principles and standards.
- Review and negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Monitor and manage project risk through timely identification and mitigation strategies.
- Work with project teams to ensure that project specifications are met and that quality standards are maintained.
- Ensure that all project documentation is completed accurately and on time, including contracts, change orders, and other legal documents.
- Handle any disputes or claims, including contract negotiations, arbitration, and litigation when necessary.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide support and guidance to project teams on contract-related issues.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure that projects are delivered smoothly and efficiently.
- 10+ years of experience, currently working as a Contract Manager in the commercial office fit-out sector.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to contracts.
- Experience in negotiating and reviewing contracts.
- Proven ability to manage projects and risks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- This position may require evening and weekend work and occasional travel.
- A full driving license.
- May be required to work at the job site.
