An Interior Fit Out contractor who work in the commercial office space and also work in the Laboratory and Pharma sectors are actively on the market seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee multiple contracts concurrently.They are industry leaders in their niche with an excellent management team with proven experience and an exceptional client retention rate, winning repeat work off their clients going for strength to strength and are growing organically thus the active requirement.Job Purpose:The Contracts Manager (Fit Out ) will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects concurrently, you will be responsible for managing all contractual obligations on construction projects in the fit-out sector. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that contracts are executed and compliant with all legal, regulatory, and ethical principles and standards, and that any disputes are resolved effectively.Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage all contractual obligations on construction projects in the fit-out sector, ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory, and ethical principles and standards.
  • Review and negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor and manage project risk through timely identification and mitigation strategies.
  • Work with project teams to ensure that project specifications are met and that quality standards are maintained.
  • Ensure that all project documentation is completed accurately and on time, including contracts, change orders, and other legal documents.
  • Handle any disputes or claims, including contract negotiations, arbitration, and litigation when necessary.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide support and guidance to project teams on contract-related issues.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure that projects are delivered smoothly and efficiently.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience, currently working as a Contract Manager in the commercial office fit-out sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to contracts.
  • Experience in negotiating and reviewing contracts.
  • Proven ability to manage projects and risks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Working Conditions:
  • This position may require evening and weekend work and occasional travel.
  • A full driving license.
  • May be required to work at the job site.
