Lecturer/Trainer Assessor - ElectricalWirral Met College is looking for a Lecturer/Trainer Assessor - Electrical to join our Construction Department. To provide high quality, flexible teaching, learning, advice and assessment to students on Work Based Learning programmes in the workplace or on college sites.To carry out formal scheduled teaching. * To develop and prepare learning and assessment materials, current to the industry.
  • To mark students’ work and examinations, moderation and verification, timely and efficiently.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Hold a vocational qualification minimum level 3 in Electrical Installation.
  • Hold a teaching or training qualification, e.g. Level 3 Award in Education & Training or PTLLS or be willing to work towards within 12 months.
  • Hold a minimum level 2 literacy/English qualification and a minimum level 2 numeracy/maths qualification.
  • Possess a full understanding of all aspects of Electrical qualifications underpinned by relevant industrial experience.
