- Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students who may be experiencing behavioural difficulties.
- Implement behaviour management strategies in collaboration with teaching staff and the SENCO.
- Build positive relationships with students, offering guidance, encouragement, and emotional support.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individual behaviour plans.
- Monitor and record student progress, and communicate effectively with parents and caregivers.
- Experience working with children or young people in a support capacity.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and resilience in dealing with challenging situations.
- An understanding of behaviour management techniques and strategies.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of students.
