This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who can bring numbers to life and foster a love for mathematics in young learners.Key Responsibilities of the Maths Teacher:
  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages.
  • Help students develop strong numeracy skills and a deep understanding of mathematical concepts.
  • Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to support academic growth.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active learning.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the Maths curriculum and teaching strategies.
Requirements for the Maths Teacher role:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Maths at secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
