We're excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Support Worker to join a brand-new children's home in Littlehampton. Your responsibilities will include:Building strong, trusting, and supportive relationshipsDeveloping and implementing individual, strength-based care plansAdvocating for each child and ensuring their voice is heardSupporting them in education, training, or work placementsEncouraging and participating in hobbies and leisure activitiesPromoting emotional well-being through therapeutic, trauma-informed approachesManaging health appointments and liaising with external professionalsMaintaining a safe, secure, and family-style home environmentEnsuring accurate and timely record-keepingActing as a positive role model in both behaviour and conductWhat We're Looking ForWe are seeking someone who brings:Compassion and empathy with a warm, non-judgmental approachStrong safeguarding knowledge and a commitment to child protectionExcellent communication and organisation skillsUnderstanding of developmental trauma and its impact on behaviourConfidence in behaviour management and the ability to de-escalate situationsMinimum two years of experience working within a challenging behaviour setting.Hours & BenefitsFull-time role on a three-week rolling rotaLong days and sleep insCompetitive salaryOvertime opportunities across servicesFull training and qualifications provided after successful probationBonus incentives for achieving 'Good' or 'Outstanding' Ofsted ratingsJoin UsThis is more than just a job, it's a meaningful opportunity to change lives.
