It defines the overall governance heartbeat within Survitec project management office parameters. It balances the progress of individual projects with management of interdependencies and priorities, identifying and resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action as needed.Duties and responsibilitiesWorks with IT leaders to develop the overall programme roadmap to support digital transformation, optimise day to day operations and minimise technical debt.Leads execution of the Survitec digital road map, establishing and managing business processes, programs, and projects to deliver overall transformation; identifies and allocates resource effectively, ensuring KPIs, and governance activities.Defines, initiates, and leads the delivery and governance of a portfolio of projects and programs to Survitec standard methodology.Identifies and quantifies business benefit; tracks and assures delivery of those benefits.Communicates program aims and their relationship to IT transformation and to Survitec's vision and values; clarifies the actions needed to deliver those programme aims; motivates people to commit to these actions and to doing extraordinary things to achieve Survitec's business goals.Leads the execution of transformational projects intended to create a digital culture across Survitec, championing collaboration and new and digital-enabled ways of working.Defines the project and programme resource needed to deliver business outcomes; secures and manages appropriate resource to deliver program outcomes on time and within budget; coordinates flow of additional team members on and off project teams as needed, building capability through training, coaching, and mentoring.Identifies project and program dependencies, constraints, risks, and issues, reporting and escalating these where appropriate. Defines, implements, and measures the impact of solutions to mitigate or overcome these.Develops and implements stakeholder engagement plans for projects; identifies relevant stakeholders, developing positive stakeholder relationships and ensuring each stakeholder has an appropriate share of voice.Identifies new external developments and emerging issues impacting information technology and digital transformation, evaluating their potential impact on or usefulness to Survitec.Develops programme resource budgets and provides regular and timely budget forecasts and drives effective, sustainable resource utilisation. Prepares clear business case for planned variance in spend; analyses and prepares plans to address any unplanned variance in spend.Develops and manages the benefits case for individual projects and the programme as a whole; tracks and evaluates delivery of benefit to plan, identifying actions needed to realise and maximise these.Creates an environment where everyone in the team can live the Survitec ValuesCreates an inclusive environment where our people feel valued, appreciated, and free to be who they are at work.Understands, upholds, and contributes to creating a safety-first culture within Survitec.
