Graduate EngineerThis is a great opportunity for a Graduate Engineer to join a well known Tier 1 contractor within the civils and infrastructure sector.The company is a well know Tier 1 contractor who operate nationwide throughout the UK and have a number of Regional offices. Your role as Graduate Engineer you will joining an award winning business who be providing engineering and quality control for construction works including maintaining appropriate records. Also to support and assist others as required ensuring the project site remains compliant with requirements in all aspects.This company are forward thinking, offer great training and development opportunities and are recognised for their great culture, which puts their people first. My client is looking for individuals to join the company who would be looking to develop their career and grow within the company as it expands.Key responsibilities for this Graduate Engineer role:
- Collaborate and provide specified measurement data as required by the Commercial department
- Work in collaboration with the Project Team, including subcontractors to ensure compliance with all legal, company and project health, safety and environmental requirements.
- Produce, for approval by others, required permits, task briefs and other required permits, task briefs and other required documentation is in place and fully briefed to all required persons prior to work within the area of responsibility
- Contribute to construction programme
- Provide accurate engineering control and setting out for the works in accordance with the latest approved design information
- Contribute to the development of temporary works solutions
- Support TWC and supervisor
- Contribute to ensuring project is compliant
- Undertake inspections and checks
- Identify erroneous or incomplete design information and notify line management for resolution with designers
- Maintain appropriate and accurate site diaries/records of works progress etcExperience required for this Graduate Engineer role:
- Basic knowledge of construction industry and standard construction techniques
- Basic knowledge of project, obtained through project induction
