Tupwood Gate provides short stay or longer-term care, offering award-winning end of life care.You will be working 37.5 hours a week, on a rota basis (including weekends) and must be able to drive.Please note: A Driving license is required for this role.   • Helping with the creation and planning of activities for residents across Tupwood Gate Nursing Home
  • Arrange outings for residents to local events
  • Working closely with all team members within the Tupwood Gate Nursing Home
  • Support with the creation of promotional material for up-and-coming events
  • Discussing potential ideas for activities with residents
  • Contacting and arranging for external 3rd party companies to visit Tupwood Gate
  • Assisting residents in taking part of arranged activities

About You
  • Previous care experience working within either a nursing home or community role (Essential)
  • Experienced in planning and arranging events (Essential)
  • Experienced in working with adults with dementia, Alzheimers and other health conditions (Desirable)
  • Computer literate (Essential)
  • Strong verbal communications skills (Essential)
  • Positive and Compassionate Approach (Essential)
  • Able to work as an individual or as part of a team (Essential)
