- Process purchase orders by creating, reviewing, and issuing them to suppliers in line with stock requirements and company policies
- Liaise with vendors to confirm order details, lead times, and delivery schedules
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure timely replenishment
- Maintain supplier price lists, negotiate pricing, and monitor contract terms to ensure cost efficiency
- Track outstanding orders and expedite urgent shipments when necessary
- Match supplier invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes, flag discrepancies, and coordinate with accounts payable
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and prepare periodic reports on purchasing activity, costs, and supplier performance
- Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company procedures, legal requirements, and quality standards
- Previous experience in an administrative or secretarial role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with some kind of creative design would be beneficial but is not essential.
- Fluent communication in either Hindi or Punjabi is beneficial bus is not essential.
- Salary of approximately £27000 - £31000 per annum
