Run by Kids Adventure Playground, we provide a vital space in the heart of the city where young people can explore, express themselves, and just be kids.We’re more than a playground — we’re a community.The Role: Playground ManagerThis is a brilliant opportunity to step into a leadership role where no two days are the same. You’ll manage day-to-day operations, guide a passionate team, and help design play experiences that truly matter. As the face of the playground, you’ll make sure every child feels safe, welcome, and included.Key responsibilities:
- Lead a fantastic team — support, mentor, and develop colleagues to deliver joyful, safe play sessions.
- Be the safeguarding lead — ensuring top-notch child protection and welfare practices.
- Keep the playground thriving — oversee site safety, repairs, and facilities.
- Manage budgets and resources — making sure we’re financially strong and well-equipped.
- Shape inclusive programs — develop fun, creative, and accessible activities with your team.
- Build community connections — work with local groups and authorities to expand our reach.
â Level 3 qualification — in Playwork, Childcare, Youth Work, or related area.
â Passionate about inclusion — you care deeply about creating welcoming spaces for all children.
â Safeguarding expertise — you’re confident as a DSL and know how to keep children safe.
â Organised and resourceful — you’re great with planning, reporting, and juggling priorities.
