  • Position: Vehicle Technician
  • Location: Northampton
  • Basic Salary: Up to £34,000
  • OTE: Circa £43,000
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
  • 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:30am - 12:30pm

Our client is a reputable main dealer in Northampton and become part of a team that values expertise, professional growth, and a passion for all things automotive.As a Vehicle Technician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring vehicles are serviced, maintained, and repaired to the highest standards. Whether you're conducting diagnostics, repairs, or routine servicing, you'll be contributing to customer satisfaction and delivering first-class service.Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a variety of vehicles to manufacturer standards.
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently, accurately, and to a high standard.
  • Conduct fault diagnosis using the latest diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Identify and repair electrical and mechanical issues effectively.
  • Liaise with service advisors and customers when required, ensuring clear communication about repairs and service updates.
  • Stay up to date with the latest vehicle technologies, repair techniques, and tools.

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Strong technical knowledge and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
