About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity to integrate into City & Guilds, a world class organisation and support with our purpose to “enable people and organisations to develop their skills for personal and economic growth.”If you are interested in joining our expanding professional team, please apply today.This role main aim will be to provide training to learners based in HMP Highpoint South, however you may also be required to support our other centres.ResponsibilitiesDelivering high-quality electrical installation subjects consistentlyAssessing courses according to guidelines and maintaining accurate recordsReviewing student performance and implementing necessary proceduresEnsuring compliance with Health & Safety, Equality & Diversity policiesCollaborating effectively within the team and with external partiesAbout You:What you’ll needRecent, relevant industry experience in domestic, commercial, and/or industrialElectrical InstallationMinimum Level 3 Teaching qualification or equivalentLevel 2 qualification in English and MathsSolid knowledge of Electrical and Science principlesPractical capabilities in Electrical InstallationsBonus points forLevel 3 Assessing qualification or equivalent.Level 4 Internal Quality Audit certificate or equivalentAdditional Level 3 & 4 electrical qualifications like C&G 2396, C&G 2391,and/or green credentials (Solar PV, EV, EESS)Desired personal qualitiesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to manage projects independently.Problem-solving attitude with a patient and controlled demeanourLeadership skills combined with a team player mindset.Full UK Driving LicenseThe successful applicant will be required to undertake appropriate checks, including an enhanced DBS disclosure as well as providing proof of the right to work in the UK.Our story and mission:Our vision is for a world in which everyone has the skills and opportunities to succeed.
