If you join us, you can play your part as an Engineering Manager - Technical Compliance at any of our main locations in the UK, Canada or Australia, with flexible working options available.The RoleAs an Engineering Manager - Technical Compliance, you'll be at the heart of our global engineering function, driving technical integrity and governance across a diverse portfolio of defence, aerospace, and engineering projects. This is a unique opportunity to influence how we maintain and strengthen engineering standards across our international operations, making a real impact on national security and global safety.This full-time, permanent role is based at any of our offices in the UK, Canada or Australia, with flexible working patterns available. Travel to other Babcock and customer sites may be required.Day-to-day you'll be:
- Leading the planning and scheduling of Global Engineering Governance and Assurance (TG&A) activities
- Managing technical governance across engineering processes and frameworks
- Overseeing the Independent Technical Authority (ITA) framework and its assurance
- Communicating changes in TG&A activity to Engineering Integrity teams
- Driving the development and delivery of TG&A training programmes
- Extensive background in systems engineering
- Proven track record across commercial or defence engineering projects
- Strong understanding of process development and technical governance
- Ability to work across international teams and complex programmes
- Degree-qualified Engineer
- Chartered or Professional Engineer status (desirable)
