This top 10 accounting firm is looking for a Manager to join their Audit Quality team and focus on the Public Sector.

Manage the approach to Engagement Quality Control Review and hot review teams, undertaking reviews and providing live feedback to audit teams
Supporting audit teams through regulatory file inspections
Actively supporting and contributing to relevant technical groups including NAO technical networks and a range of panels and boards
Developing and delivering training for public sector auditors
Responding to audit approach queries from auditors and providing ad hoc support for audit teams on complex issues
Drafting responses to consultations on public sector audit matters
Delivering VFM consistency panels, reviews and challenge to audit teams and engagement leads

Accounting qualification ACA, ACCA, CA (or equivalent)
Experience in Audit Quality or Audit Experience with a passion to develop in this area
Good knowledge of the NAO Code of Audit Practice and how this is applied in local government and NHS sectors in England
Good understanding of underlying International Standards on Auditing (UK)
Ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
