Protocol Education is recruiting a skilled SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Moderate Learning Disabilities (MLD) in a large specialist school within a well-established trust in Shropshire.Your role will involve assisting teachers in SEN classes to help pupils access learning, build independence, and thrive in an inclusive environment.Here’s why your background makes you an ideal fit:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist pupils with Moderate Learning Disabilities in engaging with lessons and developing skills
  • Support behaviour management and personalised learning plans
  • Contribute to smooth daily operations in SEN settings
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, families, and support networks
Who we’re looking for:
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification preferred (experienced unqualified candidates considered)
  • Experience supporting pupils with Moderate Learning Disabilities or similar needs
  • Friendly, patient, adaptable, and reliable
  • Ability to commute reliably to Shropshire
